In-depth Problem Order from Kogan.com | Review
On Tuesday, 19 January 2016, I ordered a 24 inch TV with a in-built DVD player from Kogan.com. I was expecting it to arrive the next Tuesday, but it arrived this morning, Friday 22 January 2016. I was excited to have it set up but once I saw that box I started to get a little concerned. I unpacked it, plugged in the TV and it didn't work. There was a large crack in the TV and it defiantly did NOT work. I was angry because I spent $203 on this TV, including shipping and freight protection. I've sent them an email not too long ago, 10:30 AM and now I have to wait for a response. Let's see how Kogan handle this...
22/01/16 | 10:50 AM - I get an email back saying that they are sorry that this has happened. They have raised this issue with their support team and it may take 2 to 3 days for a response, however it may be sooner! Time to wait for that email, but thank you to the support there who responded quickly!
22/01/16 | 11:03 AM - Another email from someone else, I'm assuming they are from support. They asked for photo proof, even though I attached photos to my original complaint. But I sent the photos again, let's see what happens. I'm actually surprised about how fast this is going. Well done Kogan. I just hope they can either send out a new one or give me a full refund. I'm going for the first one right now.
22/01/16 | 11:30 AM - Next email received, photos have been accepted, I should be getting a return slip from them to send back the broken TV. I have asked if I'm getting a full refund or a new TV sent out. I'll be getting a new TV sent out.
22/01/16 | END OF DAY - It's been worked out that the company that delivered it to me, will come back on Monday, between 9 AM to 5 PM to pick the TV up and they will take it back. Once Kogan has it, they will send me an email, they will check everything and then they'll send out a new TV to me, I'm going to assume I won't get that new TV for 2 weeks, which is highly annoying to me. I ended up stressing out a lot about this and put me in a bad head space that's just.. Anxiety. This is annoying and a pain, but I guess shit happens. I'm tempted to ask if I could have a refund instead a new TV but we'll see how this goes.
Once they pick it up on Monday, I need to ask them for a form to fill out, which I'm not sure why and I wish I could just fill it out now, but no. I'm happy that this is going fairly quickly, but I really wish this didn't happen. I'm sure I did ask, but I honestly don't know how long it will take for a new TV to come, they won't send out the new one until they get this broken on.
25/01/16 | 3:00 PM - It's almost the end of the business day, and Toll was meant to show up to collect my TV and return it. Surprise, they haven't showed up yet. I got an email from Kogan asking about a number I needed to get from the guy picking it up, but I had to reply with, "They never arrived." I'm hoping we can work out another way I can mail this TV back to them without having to use Toll or me having to pay delivery.
26/01/16 | ALL DAY - Australia Day! Everyone has a day off~!
27/01/16 | 9:55 AM - Kogan apologized on behalf of Toll for them not showing up on Monday. It's really not their fault, it was Toll's. They told me that because of the size of my TV, if there is an Austalia Post near me, which there is, they will send me a pre-paid label to send it back to them. I'm hoping I get that in the next hour or two, then I can send it back. Hopefully they can see that it's been posted and they can send me a new TV.
Today is the day I thought the TV would arrive in the first place.
27/01/16 | 1:00 PM - TV has been sent off and is now in the hands of Australia Post. Someone from Toll showed up for the TV, that was meant to happen Monday, but apparently he didn't get the paper work for this until this morning. He had to give him the news that the TV had already been sent back via AusPost.
28/01/16 | 5:00 PM - I got an email notification from Toll with a tracking number. Kogan has sent out a new, replacement TV for me.
29/01/16 | 3:00 PM - Hopefully my last email from Kogan about this. They now have the broken TV, which was fast. It got to them in 2 days.
31/01/16 12:00 PM - Looking at the Toll tracking, I don't think I'm going be getting it Tuesday, it's been a couple days and it's still in Melbourne. I know it's currently the weekend, but I expected it to move on Friday. The last TV was also sitting in Adelaide for about 2 days before it came up to me. I could guess it may be here Wednesday or Thursday but I'm not sure. I'm busy Wednesday so let's hope someone is home to pick it up when it arrives, if it does.
I'll post this now, I'll update this once the TV come and tell you how it went. See you in a couple days~!

Trying to think about what I know, what I can do. I have a hard time thinking of anything. I am Jon Snow, I know nothing.
I've gone to primary school and I've learnt the basics. I've learnt how to count, how to speak and write basic words, sentences, conversations in my native language of English.
I then went to high school and I learnt more of those skills, allowing me to expend my in-build dictionary and thesaurus, I learnt how to use correct grammar, however I'm defiantly not good at that, nor am I a great speller. But I can make it work. I learnt more complicated math, including some algebra, fractions and how to find the curcumfrence of a circle.
One thing I remember being asked a lot was, "what did you want to be when you were older? What did you want to do after you left school?". Here I am, 22 years old and still not completely knowing what I want to do when I'm older. Well, I guess that means now really.
I'm half thinking I want to go into marketing, but I'm still not sure.
There is a general rule when getting a tattoo. Think of the thing you want and where you want it, if you still like that idea after a full year, then you can get it. A tattoo is something that you have for your entire life and if you want it removed, you have to go spend a tonne of money and it takes what, one or two months to remove the tattoo?
I want to apply that rule to a career, but at this stage in my life, I have to pick. Now. I can't wait 3 more years. I need to job now, but again, I feel like I know nothing.
"Go back to school!" I hear you think. But it's not that easy. Why go to school for one thing when you're not sure what you want. Even then, marketing. To study that, I can't study it where I am right now. I'd have to move. I don't have money to move house, to pay bills, buy food, pay for my study. I can't do that with the little money I have.
"Then get a job!" I hear you think even louder. Where I am, jobs are taken. Even if I do apply to anywhere that can hire me, I'm not hired. It's a small town, there really isn't anywhere to work. Especially with my no experience.
I was thinking. why don't I look into working at home.
I feel being a blogger is out of the question. I feel it's really too hard to get an audience with this. But I could be wrong.
YouTube? I'm trying but it's still going to be years before I start making money off it. That's even IF I end up making money off it.
Then we look at other thing, a virtual assistant? I'm really too shy to work with people, and if I needed to, I think I'd prefer to do it in person.
Freelance writer? I feel like I'm.. not the best writer. This can also be applied to the blogging thing but when it comes to freelance writing, I'm not sure. I'll have to look into it more.
I should really go. If you have any ideas for me, please feel free to leave a comment somewhere!
